A lot of ISPs are turning in their users who download illegal software. AT&T has been doing this for years now. I find it strange that they would find out you downloaded it and then called your internet company and they shut you down.
You should get a hold of the internet company and find out why they did this without talking to you as well as what do u need to do to have service restored.
Uh….Tell your dad the truth, and I think you should be able to get internet back…just be careful not to do it again and If you can’t get it back then you should worry…;)
Consider yourself lucky that all they did was shut down your internet access. They could have taken your dad to court over the matter. Unfortunately now you’re going to have to tell him that there is no more internet access. Most likely, he’s going to need to get another internet provider.
They’re already taken away your Internet access. I think that’s about all that will happen.

Your best bet is to come clean with your dad. And yes, he’ll be mad because what you did was illegal. Maybe your dad can talk to your isp and explain that you were really ignorant and that you’re being punished (which I’m sure you will be) and your provider will let you back on.
If not, you may have to get a new internet provider.
I’m sorry you didn’t understand. Most people who do p2p sharing don’t. In effect, you stole from this company when you made their copyrighted product available at no charge. Be glad there’s no criminal charges involved.
I suggest the best thing to do is just be straight up with your dad. Tell him before he finds out. Explain you didn’t know and you’ll be more careful from now on. Hopefully, you learned something from the experience. Don’t stress until you have something to stress about.
