P2P is not “bad” necessarily. It’s just that most people use it for illegal purposes. The technology itself is not illegal. Ares is not illegal, it’s just that most of the files on Ares are either illegal or trojans. If you are going to use P2P for anything, I would strongly urge you not to use Ares. It is notorious for trojans, and many Ares users use leecher clients that violate protocol.
